The extension foot allows the operator to drill up using leverage from surface below. This is ideal for overhead drilling situations such as door frames, installation of commercial glass (drilling overhead into red iron or concrete), and drilling into automobile frames. It is adjustable from 4' on up 8' (see photos below).
